by 1/4". The superimposed section must not be printed,
varnished or laminated.
For short trips it could be profitable to print using
digital technology commercially available. Nevertheless,
since there are variations in the different types of
technologies for digital printing, it is recommended
to consult with your print shop to confirm durability
in exteriors. The advertisement comes up to the limits
of the page (bled) on the four sides.
Material / Substrate:
Vinyl sensitive to pressure - Flexcon BusMark (non-coated for serigraphic printing
or ink jet with a solvent base, and with top layer for
electrostatic and offset printing);
Vinyl Avery Transit (only
digital processes and serigraphic printing); or 3M 3500C
for serigraphic printing and 3M 8643 with overlaminated
3M 8915 needed for the digital process.
Inks:
Inks must be waterproof, test proof for the outdoors
with sufficient ultraviolet protection and in fulfillment
with the specifications of substrate manufacturer.
Finishes:
Transparent ultraviolet or conventional layers in fulfillment
with the specifications from substrate and ink manufactures.
Surplus:
A surplus of 20% is needed for every month of placement.
Mechanical suggested size:
Exit resolution of 300 dpi, mechanical scale of 1/8
" to 1 ".
